2016 – ‘Nagar ki Nagariya, Qisson ki Atariya’, written and directed by Tarun Kumar, at the invitation of Indian People’s Theatre Association, Indore, for the joint celebration of two eminent actors and writers of Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA) and Progressive Writers Association: Balraj Sahni and Amritlal Nagar. Tarun Kumar created this play with 24 emerging actors on the basis of 3 Short Stories by Amritlal Nagar: ‘Shaqeela ki Maa,’ ‘Qadir Mian ki Bhauji,’ and ‘Motee ki Saat Chalaniyan.’ Co-produced by Parakh Theatre-Group and Tefla’s Studio, Mumbai. First staged at ‘Think’ Literature Festival, Lonavala, Maharashtra, 11th June 2016 and then at the commemorative event organized by the Indian People’s Theatre Association-Indore, at Surendra Mohan Mathur Hall, Indore, 22nd July.
